Dear Shepaug Community,

The Academics tab of the Shepaug Valley School Website will provide you with access to comprehensive information focused on the educational program of Shepaug Valley School.  This site includes all of the information that is traditionally shared in a hard-copy course catalog, including all of our academic and grading policies and an extended syllabus for each course taught at Shepaug Valley School.   Each syllabus includes a course description, a detailed course outline with summative assessments, and basic classroom policies.

For the 2018-19 school year, we would like to draw your attention to the Required and Elective Course Offerings 2018-19 document.  This document lists each course offered at Shepaug by discipline, including credit awarded, prerequisites, and weighting (college preparatory, honors, or advanced placement).  In addition, the document explains all curricular changes for the 2018-19 school year.  This information will be most helpful in future planning meetings with the school counselors.  With regard to syllabi for the upcoming school year, each syllabus will be created/updated and published by September 15, 2018, for semester one and by December 15, 2018, for semester two. Current posted syllabi are still an excellent source of information for planning purposes.
